Exciting changes are happening for Camp eXpresso!
The SVC is proud to announce that Susquehanna Valley Youth Chorale Music Director, Coleen Renshaw, will be the new camp Music Director.
Camp Dates for 2019: July 22-26
Location – Central Oak Heights (COH), West Milton
The Camp eXpresso! experience challenges singers to balance the demands of singing well technically with the enjoyment of expressing their inner most artistic self. Camp is an excellent opportunity for budding young performers to gain the valuable learning tools for expressive and successful stage singing from our expert staff members. Activities will encourage communication and cooperation in a nurturing, engaging educational environment.
Campers will learn several full-ensemble, staged, choral pieces with our music director and expressive staging with a choreographer. Full day campers are treated to master classes presented by experts in the field of expressive singing, stage/mic use, performance techniques, Eco-Music, Yoga for Singers, etc. Also, full day campers work on small solo-ensemble projects with voice teachers for a more in depth one-on-one vocal training experience.
All campers are treated to an evening of dinner at the pavilion by the campfire and a song-filled campfire jam with special guest performers.
Camp includes HALF-DAY and FULL-DAY options and is open to any singer who has finished 3rd grade to those who are approaching 12th grade.
